Ode to a code

Dear code,
If I write ode in C, that would be code. Sorry for starting with lame joke, but anyway I'm gonna start writing ode to you, code.
Code, sometimes I feel sad when no one notices you and the world you've changed. They don't know even writing this ode is under your control. With your effort, this content goes into the database, making people available to see this. Not only this, but also the google's complicate searching algorithms, facebook's finding friends skill and League of Legends's team matching skill - They are all made by you. The world we are living in have become efficient and productive by you. You deserve more concerns and understanding considering your endeavor.
Code, sometimes my heart be full when I'm writing you. I always think the easiest way to change the world for 18 years old boy is to write a fantastic code with creative ideas. Actually, you are the idea itself. You are the process idea becoming substance. You enable me to change the world. I appreciate even the slightest help you have made. My faithful assistant, I appreciate a lot.
Code, sometimes but I'm irritated by your fastidious taste. You don't pass difference in spelling, even the capital letter. You are particular about the order also. Some sentences must be the first at your body. All of this trivial regulations frustrate me so hard that I don't even want to look your face again. I'm confused who's the master - Is it me who writes you or you who make me follow your rule?
Code, but I know all those irritating regulations and rules are for me. I know you exist to help and serve me to the full extent. I know your first purpose is to function exactly as I have wrote. Even i said sometimes i got irritated by you, but I am amazed every time watching you function after I finish coding. Where else can I find a devoted assistant who follows my command accurately? You are the one irreplaceable.

Code, before I called your name you were just words. When I called your name you came to me and became a program. Code, let's change the world by us. I hope you follow me as you have done, I know you will.

In-Class Reflective Essay: "Spring" in Kim Ki Duk's Film

What a little monk found funny was, in fact, extreme pain to fish, frog and the snake. The little monk realizes it after he got punished with same way by an old monk. This is life. You can never sympathy with someone or something before you get a similar experience to those. The reason we can sympathy is that we have experienced many events and people directly or directly before. Thus we are watching the world above our recognition base formed before.
Mr. Kim Jung Hwan told me similar thing. He said that we tend to say "I know you", but actually this means "I know you who I know." It made me reflect in many ways. How many times I thought I know him/her and evaluated easily, and how can it be different from what the small monk did in the movie. I was, without even realizing it, hanging stones to them. Experience I got from the movie has widen my view to the world.
With Buddhism's perspective, what he monk did has another meaning. Buddhism taught that people has to pay for their karma of their life in the life after their death. This can be said that you have to be responsible what you did. The little monk got a rebirth by hanging stone to his back, which is a same thing he did to animals, and he suffered from pain and found out the animals he made suffer. This behavior enabled him to repay the karma he made, so he could be responsible to what he did.
You reap what you sow. It seems so evident, but a valuable life lesson. This is what karma means and what the little monk did. The belief that bad guys would be punished and good guys would be praised was the impetus making the world better place. We should keep this belief and meaning of karma.
Also there is a wisdom of 'nothing' in the name of the movie, spring summer fall winter and spring. After winter, the spring comes finally. What we think confusing and disrupting returns to its position afterwards. I don't know what life the little monk will live, it would be tranquil afterwards. Let it be, this is another wisdom the movie lessons. In many ways, the movie has many Buddhism meanings.

Review : KMLA life

*This is the review written with my personal perspective, so it is extremely subjective. If you love KMLA so much that you can't bear any complaints of it, I would gently recommend  to press alt + F4 and go find something productive. If you are ready to read it, press ready.

ready
Overal Rating : ★☆☆☆☆
I have used educational service called KMLA about 2 years, an enough time to scrutinize it and recognize its advantage and disadvantage. I divided field of evaluation into 4 fields, quality of education, price, members and dormitory life.

1. quality of education ★★☆☆☆
- Compared to other (general) schools, the quality of education is rather fair. Actually it should be, considering the tremendous tuition we pay for. However, there were some classes barely having educational quality that it looked like better to study alone with books. There were also classes even decreased my educational interests in that subject. I liked the subject before the class, but it has changed because the teacher poorly taught the subject with tedious tone.
An elective system is one of the virtues KMLA has. It enables me to choose the subject I have interest in. It is an advantage that I can experience it earlier while other students would experience it in a university. It is, however, an obstacle that the option to choose classes is limited due to KMLA's small number of students. For example, I was forced to choose between classes I don't have any interests in some modules. So I would say this elective system is a limited system, having faults should be improved.
Teachers are actually the most important factor considering quality of education. It would be desirable if every teacher has the knowledge of the subject and a skill to convey that, but unfortunately not. They all have some degree of knowledge required to teach students. It is because school gives a consideration to applicants' education level seriously when they interview teacher applicants. However, the skill of teaching is as important as knowledge, and this is the one some of KMLA teachers lack of. It seems like they don't care about the difficulty, their tones or how students will get at all. This is the reason dropping the quality of education of KMLA heavily.

2. price ●☆☆☆☆ (a half star)
- The tuition for KMLA is enormous. It's even expensive than any of universities in Korea. Most of general parents cannot afford this, so it's not surprising people criticize KMLA as an elite school. If i have got an appropriate treatment for the money I(my parents) had pay for, I would not give that harsh score to this section. The problem is, I didn't. This education is poor even though I pay twice as much as other do to Korean universities , school facilities are nothing but just facilities and my room is consists of a desk and a bed. I can use 20 million won more wisely getting more great welfare and happiness.
Not only the tuition, but also other miscellaneous things cost so much. The price of a meal is 5000 won whereas I evaluate it 3000 won at most. I payed for a musical instrument five hundreds thousands won although I used it less than 10 hours in total. I have some doubts that school has a corruption connected to these problems, but I can't prove it.

3. members ★☆☆☆☆
This is the thing exactly I learned in KMLA

- As most of groups, KMLA have some good members and bad members. Those bad members are irritating and making me to realize how much I hate some people. Why is it irritating so much? It's because KMLA's so small and dormitory school, I have to watch them again and again. One of the characteristics people I hate are political. They intentionally approach to other students and use them to accomplish their goals. I believe that I'm sensitive and can figure out other people very easily by nature. Thus I can feel those intentions and artifice which irritate me and make me hate them. One of my friends said that it raises a mental problem to make people live in secluded area with limited people, and it is happening in KMLA. I totally agree with him, and can actually see it's happening. I just can't stand that I have to face everyday I can't bear with smiling face.

4. dormitory life ★☆☆☆☆
- Am i living in a dormitory or a prison? I can't even move to other rooms over 12'o clock and can't sleep before 11. This is not the life I pursue. I consider a freedom the most important value in my life and it directly against KMLA's dormitory life. Moreover, living with other people can be extremely irritating depends on roommates. In most of my KMLA life, the roommates were fine. I enjoy hanging out with them. However, I had a very uncomfortable experience with one of my roommates. Since then, I realized that living with other people can be very uncomfortable, and I'm not the one adaptable to this system.

In total, I'm evaluating KMLA very negatively. I would not recommend KMLA if people ask about KMLA. Maybe those negative evaluations are up to my problem not KMLA's. But KMLA should remind that if people start to get similar thoughts to mine to KMLA, KMLA cannot exist anymore.
